Dr. Elise Lasko, DACM, L.Ac., is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine based in Vista, serving the North County San Diego community. She specializes in herbal medicine, women’s health, pediatrics, and Classical Five Element Acupuncture. Elise earned her doctorate from Pacific College of Health and Science in 2024, completing clinical internships at UCSD Family Medicine Clinic, Rady Children’s Hospital, Kouman Family Outpatient Clinic, and Jacobs Medical Center.

From Reiki to Rooted Healing: The Beginning of a Holistic Journey

Elise began her healing journey unexpectedly in 2017 when she found herself in a Reiki Level 1 class—without even knowing what Reiki was. All she knew was that she needed support. A naturally sensitive and anxious soul, Elise was navigating the turbulence of her late twenties when Reiki opened a doorway into the world of holistic healing. It quickly became more than a tool—it became her compass.

By 2019, Elise had become a Reiki Master Teacher. In early 2020, she founded coReiki, a business dedicated to helping working professionals manage stress through energy healing. Her guiding mantra—global self-healing rooted in love—continues to shape her work today. Passionate about empowering others, Elise regularly offers Reiki trainings to those who feel called to learn this powerful self-healing art.

Expanding Her Path: Studying Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in San Diego

In 2021, Elise moved from Denver to San Diego to pursue her doctorate in acupuncture and Chinese medicine. During her studies, she developed a strong passion for supporting women and children, working under the mentorship of renowned perinatal expert Dr. Deb Davies, DACM, Dipl. O.M., L.O.M. Inspired by their shared mission, Elise became a DONA-trained birth doula in 2022 and has continued to focus her clinical practice on the childbearing continuum—from fertility through postpartum care.

It was during acupuncture school that Elise experienced her first Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT) session—a deeply transformative encounter that would shift the course of her healing journey once again. That session left a lasting impression, and Elise soon felt called to train in the modality herself. She is now a Level 1 QHHT Intern, offering sessions to those who are ready to explore deep soul-level insight and transformation. This special service is offered for existing clients and only upon request.

She is fluent in Spanish and holds dual undergraduate degrees in International Business and Spanish from the College of Charleston. The name Fern is deeply meaningful to Elise and inspired by her own family story. Her grandmother lived on Fern Drive in Ohio. Years later, when her family welcomed a golden retriever, the breeder had already named her Fern—a beautiful synchronicity that felt instantly aligned.
